Keith Hills’ career trajectory is a unique blend of financial acumen and environmental commitment. His journey began at the young age of 16 in the financial markets, where he quickly ascended from a junior trader to a specialist in mergers and acquisitions on the Swedish Stock Exchange. By 21, Keith had become a volatility market maker, trading options and futures, marking 12 successful years in finance.

Seeking a shift from finance, Keith founded Eco Green Roofs, leveraging his strategic skills for environmental impact. Under his leadership, the company experienced significant growth, eventually leading to a partnership with a waterproofing services provider. In 2023, Keith spearheaded a Management Buy-Out, reclaiming majority shares and transforming Eco Green Roofs into the UK’s largest independent Green Roofing company.

Formerly the Technical Committee Chair of the Green Roof Organisation, Keith has been instrumental in setting industry best practice guidelines. He is also a qualified Lantra green roof trainer, dedicated to elevating standards within the sector. His involvement in designing green roofs for major UK projects like Battersea Power Station, Tate Gallery in St Ives, and numerous regeneration projects highlights his expertise and influence.

In 2024, reflecting the breadth of services offered, Eco Green Roofs evolved into Eco Green Group. Keith’s vision for the Group is anchored in commitment, innovation, and collaboration, aiming to lead the industry towards a sustainable and eco-friendly future.
